The bike park app is an iOS and Android mobile app that allows users to buy passes and merchandise, get trail updates and event information, record and view ride history and get medical attention based on GPS location.

Users can get more detailed information about each trail including distance, elevation, difficulty rating, etc.
Lap Data
Users can record and view their laps and GPS ride data (elevation, distance, speed, and duration). That data can be used for unofficial buddy races, historical comparisons, and by the park for events.
Kanuga can provide users with the most laps in a given time period park rewards, which can be free passes, merch, discounts, etc.
Park Passes
Users can buy multiple passes from the app. Each pass is scanned by the park upon rider arrival. Passes can also be scanned during events for rider participation.
Digital passes are easily validated, showing the active dates and user photo. This helps mitigate trail poaching and pass sharing.
Ride Maps
Users can record and view their laps from a map view. While recording, the app tracks GPS data and displays the route.
The app is intelligent enough to know if the rider has stopped moving. This pauses the recording so the lap metrics are not skewed.
From the user lap screen, the user can recall the lap data and route.
The route color is determined by the trail rating, which is selected by the user when initiating the recording. Green (beginner), Blue (intermediate), Black (advanced), Red (expert).
Lap Data Metrics
After recording a lap, the app displays the GPS data. Users can choose to save or discard the lap.
Request Help
When a request for help is sent, the app notifies the park office with the GPS location of the injured rider, timestamp and basic user information like user ID.
Park Store
Users can buy passes, merchandise, and rentals in the app. This store is integrated so the park has complete control over their shopping products and experience.
Admin Console
Park admins can scan passes, update trail status, view rider analytics, injuries and reports, and perform custom user actions.
Rider Analytics
Park admins can view daily, monthly, annual or "all" rider data and export it. Requests for analytics and views are evolving.
Analytical data is aggregated with GCP Cloud functions.
Injury Analytics
Similar to rider data, admins can get historical injury data and get reports. This is useful for reporting to insurance and for gaining insight on safe trail building related to rider competency.
